McGill Marketing Network

The McGill Marketing Network (MMN) is a student-run club dedicated to bridging the gap between McGill students and the professional marketing industry. Through networking events, case competitions, speaker panels, and workshops, MMN equips students with the skills and connections needed to thrive in the field. MMN also offers tailored marketing consulting services for small businesses in Montreal and other companies across Canada, providing strategic insights and creative solutions.

 By fostering collaboration between undergraduates and industry professionals, MMN provides opportunities for students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world marketing challenges.

MMN x FBU Digital Retail Marketing Case Competition

When: November 2024

Audience: McGill Undergraduate Students 

Note: In November 2024, MMN, in collaboration with Fashion Business Uncovered, challenged over 40 McGill undergraduate students passionate about marketing to develop innovative solutions for the post-pandemic retail space.

Frank and Oak Case Competition

When: March 2024

Attendees: 45

Audience: McGill Undergraduate Students 

Note: In March 2024, MMN partnered with McGill’s Asian Business Association and sustainable fashion retailer Frank and Oak for a week-long case competition. 45 McGill undergraduate students passionate about fashion developed an international expansion strategy for China or India.

Building Your Brand Workshop

Attendees: 35

Audience: McGill undergraduate students interested in branding and entrepreneurship attended.

Note: In February 2025, MMN hosted a branding workshop featuring top industry professionals who shared insights on entering the marketing industry and building a cohesive brand.
