The Vice President of Financial Affairs manages the MUS’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and compliance across all portfolios and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Act as Treasurer of the Management Undergraduate Society
Maintain fiscal responsibility and accountability of the Management Undergraduate Society on all matters (Financial Strategy, Reimbursement, Sponsorship, Reporting, Taxation, Bookkeeping, Cash Management, Banking, Insurance, etc.)
Liaise with SSMU on all financial matters, including the processing of any financial instruments
Assist portfolio Chairs, Co-Chairs and their committee members on all budgeting matters (Pricing, Expense forecasting and research, Contract negotiations, Resource acquirement, etc.)
Publish an Financial Annual Report once per academic term no later than the first day of the exam period as defined by the Constitution and the Financial Policy
To enact the Financial Policy with the Constitution on all financial operations for the MUS
